James Rodney Hollis

James Rodney Hollis, 54 of Newark, DE, died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at home. Born in Charleston, SC, on August 21, 1952, he was the son of the late Horace E. Hollis, Sr. and the late Mary E. Brown Hollis. Mr. Hollis served in the U.S. Marines. He was a painter for M & B Construction, Wilmington, DE. Survivors include his children: James R. Hollis, Jr.; Irene West; and Aaron Hollis; two step-children: Harold Painter; Michele Robinson; his siblings: Horace E. Hollis, Jr.; Barbara A. Ballard; Andrea J. Williams; Gladys P. Sill; Michael A. Hollis; Timothy C. Hollis and Donna G. Dunn; two grandchildren and his companion: Margie Hobbs. Funeral Services will be held 4:00 PM, Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
