James Leon Groff
James Leon Groff, 83 of North East, MD, died Wednesday, November 9, 2022 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.
Born in Lancaster, PA, on March 23, 1939, he was the son of the late Ralph P. and Evelyn (Mowrer) Groff.
Jim was a retired truck driver.
He enjoyed wood working, traveling, motorcycles, going to Snatcher’s Creekside, North East, MD and getting together with his friends at VFW Post 6027, North East, MD.
He is survived by his children: Deborah, Dawn, Dennis and David; siblings: Albert Groff and Parke Groff; 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Jim was also preceded in death by his daughter: Donna.
