Jakeel Dashaun Hammond

Jakeel Dashaun Hammond, 24 of Elkton, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 24, 2020.

A lifelong resident of Elkton, he was born on February 13, 1996.

Jakeel worked in maintenance at the Flying J, Perryville, MD.  He was very athletic and enjoyed all types of sports.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother: Michelle Hammond; his father: Monte Stansbury; siblings: Quadre, Daquan, and Marqueze Hammond, Maurice, and Isiah McCargo, Anthony and Terrick Stansbury; his companion: Jessica Deaver; and 2 stepchildren: Owen & Ian.

He was preceded in death by 2 uncles: Anthony Hammond, Larry Stansbury; and his aunt Mary Ray

Homegoing service will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm.
