Jack Edward Moody

Jack Edward "Ed" Moody, age 53 of Middletown, DE formerly of North East, MD, died, Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Elkin, NC, on June 6, 1950, the son of Louise Waddell Moody, Elkin, NC and the late, Jack Hassell Moody. Mr. Moody was a truck driver for Southgate Concrete Company. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed NASCAR, all sports and he played Triple A Ball for the Cincinnati Reds. Mr. Moody is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jeannie Bolt Moody, Middletown, DE, daughter, Danielle S. Delfino, Middletown, DE, three nieces, three nephews, one-great-niece, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog Sassy. Family and friends may call Friday, August 1, 2003 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 2, 2003 at the funeral home. Rev. Sumner Jones of Shelemiah United Methodist Church, Bay View, MD will officiate.
