Iva N Stevens

Iva Nell Stevens, 82 of Elkton, MD, died Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Cleveland, VA, on May 11, 1927, she was the daughter of the late A. Taze and the late Ethel Lee Fletcher Barton. Mrs. Stevens was the beloved wife of Claude A. Stevens of Elkton, MD. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of North East and the Cecil County Christian Women's Association. In addition to her loving husband , survivors include: two daughters: Judy Musick of Rising Sun, MD, Claudette Wilkinson and her husband Chuck of Hockessin, DE; her siblings: Ruth Cook of Bristol, VA, Peggy Rasnake and her husband Curtis of Charlestown, MD, Cora Sue Booher of Blountville, TN, Allie Musick of North East, MD and three brothers: Ronald C Barton of Charlestown, MD, Larry D Barton and his wife Verna of Lebanon, VA, Gary B Barton of Cleveland, VA; four grandsons, four granddaughters, and seven great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two siblings: Ella Wilson and Aries T. Barton Funeral service will be held Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
