Hildur Emma Wood

Hildur Emma Wood, 82 of North East, MD, died Friday, January 9, 2026 in her home.

Born in Reicholzheim, Germany, on February 28, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Leonhard Friedrich and Helene Theresia (Schreck) Rosinsky.

She had worked for Bata Shoe and Maryland Lava before retirement. A member of Delaware Saenger bund Library Club and enjoyed exercise class at Cecil County YMCA.

Survived by one daughter: Ellen O'Shea (Todd) of Reading, PA., Granddaughters, Morgan Schrack (Matthew) of Bernville, PA., and Faron Bollendorf (Alan) of Reading, PA; Great­ grandsons, Miles, Braylon, and Ryan.

Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Wood and son Robert Wood.

Private internment will be in Highview Memorial Park Fallston, MD.
