Hilda M. Jones

Hilda M. Jones, 82 of North East, MD, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at home. Born in North East, MD, on December 1, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and the late Helen E. Dunlap Biddle. She was a Homemaker, and employed by Babe's Market in North East, MD for several years, as well as Ames Department Store and Elk Neck State Park. Hilda was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of V.FW.Post 6027, North East, MD., North East United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed bowling. Survived by five daughters: Paula H. Streaker of North East, MD, Roseann Stull of Rising Sun, MD, Nancy E. Markus of North East, MD, Susan L. Walsh of North East, MD, Terry S. Grubb of Colora, MD and one son: Harry Babe Jones of North East, MD. Survived by one brother: Walter Biddle of CA. Survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband of 55 years of marriage, Paul W. Jones who died in 1993. Funeral service will be held Monday, June 12, 2006 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where family and friends may call Sunday, June 11 from 6PM to 8PM. Rev. Daniel Gedman will officiate. Interment North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
