Herminio Marcos Gonzalez

Herminio Marcos Gonzalez, 80 of North East, MD, died Friday, October 17, 2008 in Harford Memorial Hospital, Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Pueblo, CO, on April 25, 1928, he was the son of the late Lino and the late Refugio Samora Gonzalez. He was the beloved husband of Janie O. Gonzalez, of North East, MD. Mr. Gonzalez served in the US Army as a Paratrooper. He retired from Susquehanna Metal Box, Havre de Grace, MD where he worked as a Machinist. He also owned G & S Furniture Store, North East, MD, and enjoyed fishing. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by: a daughter: Phyllis Miller and her husband Daniel of North East, MD; a brother: Nash Gonzalez of Pueblo, CO; and two grandsons: Randall Pennington of Marion, VA and Frank Pennington of Abingdon, MD. Mr. Gonzalez was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Gonzalez and three siblings: Ralph Gonzalez, Frank Gonzalez, and Mary Rivas. Family and friends may visit on Monday, October 20, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD. Interment will follow in Harford Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen, MD.
