Henry Rother

Henry Rother, 74 of Elkton, MD, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at home.

Born in Havre De Grace, MD, on August 16, 1951, he was the son of the late Henry Frederick and the late Dorothy (Eklund) Rother.

Mr. Rother served in the US Air Force for 16 years and was a machinist. He enjoyed listening to bluegrass music, repairing cars, watching races, baseball, football, and the news.

Survived by his wife, Betty (Petts) Rother; three sisters: Pattie Frederick, Laura Sutton, and Avis Jones; four stepchildren: James Burcham, Andrew Clark, Susan Wagner, and Michael Neely; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family has requested services to be held privately.
