Henry C. Rash, Sr.

Henry C. Rash, Sr., 76 of Elkton, MD, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on February 8, 1948, he was the son of the late Howard and Reba (Heiser) Rash.  He was the husband of the late Diane Marie Rash who lost her own battle with cancer on November 17, 2024.

Henry retired from Forbes Steel where he worked as a machinist.

He enjoyed sports, especially football.  He was a loving caregiver for his wife even though he was fighting cancer himself.

Survivors include his daughter: Melissa Grant (Christopher); sons: Mark A. Rash and Henry C. Rash, Jr. who passed two days after his father on November 23 also of cancer; grandchildren: Kyle, Jordan (Jack), Hailey, Riley, Eliana, Ava, and Alexis; and sisters: Eleanor Gommer and Dot McGrath.

In addition to his parents and wife, Henry was preceded in death by two sisters: Evelyn Walker and Carolyn Tulowitzki-Daisey.

Memorial service will be held Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.
