Helen Elizabeth Varner

Helen Elizabeth Varner, 85 of North East, MD, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 in her home. Born in Morgantown, W VA, on November 6, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and the late Minnie Wilson Moore. Mrs. Varner was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Elkton, MD and Elkton Senior Citizens. She enjoyed quilting and visiting with her granchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-greatgrandchildren. She was a Cook, employed by Morgantown University, Morgantown, W VA. Survived by two daughters: Minnie O. McDilda of Elkton, MD, Marlin Irene Nichols of Easton, MD and three sons: Floyd E. Tennant of Elkton, MD, Kevin "Buck" Tennant of Elkton, MD, Kenny Tennant of Morgantown, W VA. One sister: Juanita Crayne of Waynesburg, PA. Late Husband, Charles Raymond Varner; Late Son, Isaac D. Tennant; Late Sister, Wyonna Brewer. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where family and friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
