Helen V. (Everett) Schirling

Helen V. Schirling, 94 of North East, MD, died Thursday, February 6, 2014 in the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD.

Born in Kirkwood, DE, on January 1, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Alice (Lloyd) Everett.  She was the wife of the late John Henry Schirling who died Feb. 8, 2005.

Mrs. Schirling was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.  She was a member of North East United Methodist Church, North East, MD.

She is survived by her son: Lloyd E. Schirling of North East, MD; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her children: John H. Schirling, Jr. and Virginia L. Bolton; a sister: Elsie Witwer and 7 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 14, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will begin at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery.
