Helen L. (Pingar) Rowles

Helen L. Rowles, 73 of New Castle, DE, formerly of North East, MD died Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

Born in Nashville, TN, on February 20, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Mary (Nowland) Pinegar.  She was the wife of the late Harold Wilkinson Rowles who died on March 11, 1996.

Prior to her retirement, Helen worked for RMR, Elkton, MD and Lass Assembly, North East, MD.  She had also worked as a waitress.

She is survived by her children: Tim Eldreth of Lansing, NC, Donna Eldreth of West Jefferson, NC, Flora Ault (Ellsworth) of Hampstead, MD, Tommy Rowles (Fiancé Pam) of Elkton, MD and Nicole Ford (Butch) of Elkton, MD; 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a granddaughter: Jennifer Harrington.

Funeral service will be held Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Interment will follow services in Rose Bank Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD.
