Harry C Russell, 76 passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at Hope Hospice, Fort Myers, FL, after a long and painful illness in dignity and peace...free of pain. He was a lifelong resident of Maryland.Harry was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army with the Engineer Corp-45th Division and the Signal Company in Seoul. He was employed by the DuPont Company, Wilmington, DE, and retired in 1983, after 35 years of service.Harry loved his family. Before retiring to our home on the Elk River, he spent all his summers with his wife and three children, enjoying the "land of pleasant living". His memory will carry on through all of us.His parents, William T Russell, Sr, and Lillian Clymer Russell, preceded him in death. Harry is survived by Jacqueline, his devoted wife of 54 years, three children and their spouses; David K Russell, North East, MD, Stephanie R Ziegenhorn, Wilmington, DE, and Lynn R Wnenchak, Newark, DE, and two grandchildren, Sarah Wnenchak and Melanie R Gutierrez and spouse. He is also survived by two sisters and brother; Dorothy R Ashbridge, Elkton, MD, Anna May Eldredge, Ft Myers, FL, and William T Russell, Jr, North East, MD, and their spouses. A Memorial Service celebrating Harry's life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 15, 2005, at Hart's United Methodist Church, Turkey Point Road, North East, MD. The Rev. Beverly B Lewis of Hart's United Methodist Church will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to Hart's United Methodist Church, P.O Box 284, North East, MD, 21901, or to Hope Hospice of Southwest Florida, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, FL, 33908. *Please have any flowers delivered to Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S Main St, North East, MD 21901, by 3PM, Friday, January 14, 2005.
