Harriet A. T. Williams

Harriet Amelia Trimble Williams, age 94, of Bay View, Maryland, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2004, at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, Maryland. Born in North East, Maryland on December 11, 1909, she was the daughter of the late George M. and Martha Dewberry Davis. She was a resident of Cecil County, Maryland for 94 years. Mrs. Williams was a retired Cafeteria Manager for Calvert Elementary School in Calvert, Maryland. She was a longtime member of Shelemiah Methodist Church in Bay View, and will long be remembered for her baked goods and her service at church functions. Mrs. Williams was the wife of the late Harry Lawson Trimble, who died in 1955, and the late Clarence Williams, who died in 1976. She is survived by her son, Ernest L. Trimble and his wife, Doris M, Bay View, Maryland;a granddaughter, Melissa A. Gould, Woodsville, New Hampshire; great-grandchildren, Scott T. Gould and Kyle B. Gould, both of Woodsville, New Hampshire. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Lillian Moore, Florence Hammond, and George Davis. Family and friends may visit from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, February 20, 2004, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2004, at Crouch Funeral Home. Rev. Sumner Jones of Shelemiah United Methodist Church, Bay View, Maryland, will officiate. Interment will follow services in Presbyterian Cemetery, Zion, Maryland. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelemiah United Methodist Church, c/o Crouch Funeral Home.
