Hannelore Paula (Volerath) Mclaughlin

Hannelore “Hannah” Paula McLaughlin, 87 of North East, MD, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 in the Elkton Nursing and Rehab Center, Elkton, MD.

Born in West Germany on April 18, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Adam Volrath. She was married to retired U.S. Army Veteran, Arthur L. McLaughlin, Sr. who passed April 30, 1998.

Hannah is survived by her son: Arthur Leroy “Roy” McLaughlin, Jr. and her brother: Deda Volerath.

Prior to her retirement, she was an assembler, employed by Bata Shoe.

Hannah loved going to breakfast with all her friends, going to the casino and traveling with her son, with her favorite being when they went on cruises.

She was loved and will be missed by many.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
