Grover Lee Hawkins

Grover Lee Hawkins, 74 of Elkton, MD, died Monday, January 1, 2007 at home. Born in Elkton, MD, on February 25, 1932, he was the son of the late Victor Fielder and the late Mabel Edith Lucille McCreary Hawkins. He was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps. Mr. Hawkins retired from the National Bank of Rising Sun, MD after many years of service. He served in many different positions including Vice-President. Survivors include one sister: Shirley J. Weaver of Rising Sun, MD; Five nieces, Nancy M. Hawkins of Manchester By The Sea, MA; Lisa A. Neary of Elkton, MD; Karen Jobes of Havre de Grace, MD; Sharon Weaver of North East, MD; and Kathy Linsen of West Chester, PA; Two Great Nephews, Liam Thomas and Patrick John Neary of Elkton, MD; Three Great Nieces, Alicen Jobes of Havre de Grace, MD; Alexis and Camryn Linsen of West Chester, PA. He is also survived by his Chinese Family, where he served as a mentor, friend and honorary grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his late brother, James Allen Hawkins. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 5, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call Thursday, January 4, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
