Greyson Baxter Purnell

Greyson Baxter Purnell, 28 days old of North East, MD, passed away in the arms of his mommies and surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

Greyson’s valiant fight proved to be one of the bravest acts ever witnessed.

He was born on February 18, 2024, in Baltimore, MD.

Greyson is lovingly survived by his parents: Paige & Bethany Purnell of North East, MD; twin sister: Wren Purnell; grandparents: Thelma & Philip Ellwood of North East, MD; grandparents: Mark Purnell & Tina Jackson of Elkton, MD; grandparents: Molly Purnell & Richard Culver of Elkton, MD; great grandmother: Betty Jane Ellwood of Bear, DE; great grandparents: Carol & Bill Dale of North East, MD; aunt: Jenna Ellwood of North East, MD; aunt: Natalie Ellwood (Kenneth Howell, Jr.) of North East, MD; and uncle: Nicholas Purnell (Rebecca) of Elkton, MD.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10:30 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 9:30 am.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Greyson made to Ronald McDonald House of MD, in care of the funeral home.
