Gregory Lewis Walters

Gregory Walters, 43 of North East, MD, died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at home

Born in Madison, IN, on September 16, 1970, he is the son of Gordon and Verna (McCarty) Walters of Elkton, MD.  He served in the U S Navy as a machinist mate.

Greg was a Millwright employed by Local # 74 Newark, DE. He was a member of American Legion Post 135, Perryville, MD., and also enjoyed hunting, boating, and fishing.

Survived by his wife: Lora L. Walters, North East, MD, daughter, Brianna L. Walters of North East, MD; Step-daughters, Valerie McGuirk and husband Brad of Perryville, MD; and Gina Letterman of Wilmington, DE  sisters: Denise Taylor, Sylvia Walters, Dr. Phyllis Walters of Florida; Grandchild, Taylor and Brady McGuirk.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A.127 South Main Street, North East, MD where the family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.

Interment with full military honors, will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD..

Memorials may be made to Greg’s daughter, Brianna Walters college fund in c/o the funeral home.
