Greg Allen Belcher

Greg Allen Belcher, 47 of North East, MD, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at home. Born in Passaic, NJ, on September 25, 1960, he was the son of Ernest and Emma Ethel Eck Belcher of North East, MD. He served in the Navy from 1981 to 1983. He worked as a construction worker and also in landscaping. An avid gardener, he greatly enjoyed gatherings with family and friends and playing horseshoes. In addition to his parents, survivors include his children: Greg Allen Belcher, Jr. of Charlestown, MD; Matthew L. Belcher of Elkton, MD; Samantha M. Belcher of Elkton, MD; two grandchildren: Matthew L. Belcher, Jr.; and Desiree A. Broadwater; three brothers: Ernest Belcher, Jr. of North East, MD; John Belcher, his wife Brenda and their children of Cary, NC; Donald Belcher, his wife Kim and their sons of North East, MD; four sisters: Pamela Serra, her husband Philippe and their son of Colora, MD; Helen Reil, her husband Fred and their children of Perryville, MD; Mary Esposito, her husband Frank and their children of Rising Sun, MD; Laura Dale of Rising Sun, MD; and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may visit Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Rev. Daniel T. Gedman will officiate. Interment with full military honors will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
