Gordon Edward Mcgowan

Gordon Edward McGowan, 83 of Elkton, MD, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018.

Born in Sparrows Point, MD, on December 7, 1934, he was the son of the late William Edward and Helen Rose (Simon) McGowan.

He served his country proudly in the US Navy.  Prior to his retirement, Mr. McGowan worked in sales for Parkway Machine Corp., Timonium, MD.

He enjoyed Ravens football, collecting lighthouse and cooking, especially for holiday and Sunday meals.

Survivors include his wife: Joan M. (Strobel) McGowan; 2 children: Kelly Campbell of Bel Air, MD, Mark E. McGowan (Megumi) of Edgewood, MD; 2 grandchildren: Tyler and Amanda Campbell; and 3 great granddaughters: Alyssa, Chloey and Lilli.

Graveside service will be held Monday, January 29, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Oak Lawn Cemetery, Eastern Avenue, Dundalk, MD.
