Gilbert "Rocky" Sherman Ewing, Jr.

Gilbert Sherman Ewing, Jr., “Rocky”, 61 of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 in the Christiana Care, Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

He was born in Wilmington, DE, on January 15, 1961.

Rocky worked in lawn care, was a concrete finisher and enjoyed antiques.

He is survived by one daughter: Mandy Caldwell of Johnstown, PA and one son: Christopher Ewing of Sebastian, FL; his father: Gilbert S. Ewing, Sr. of Elkton, MD; sister: Terry Boyce of Elkton, MD; and 5 grandchildren.

Rocky was preceded in death by his mother: Mary (Rhoades) Ewing.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.  Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
