George Taylor Lynch, Jr.

George Taylor Lynch, Jr., 79 of Newark, DE, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Newark Manor Nursing Home, Newark, DE. Born in Elkton, MD, on July 31, 1930, he was the son of the late George T. Lynch, Sr. and the late Aldine Alena Akers Lynch. He served our country in the Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Thiokol where he was employed as an accountant. A member of Shelemiah United Methodist Church, North East, MD, he also enjoyed golfing, carving decoys and fishing. Survivors include his loving wife: Helen Christine Lynch, two daughters: Patricia Brown of Richland, WA, Barbara Key of Hagerstown, MD and one son: Michael Lynch of Phoenix, AZ; one brother: Robert "Bobby" Lynch of Bayview, MD; 7 grandchildren: Heather, Brian, Erin, Angela, Danny, Mike and David; and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM.
