George W. Kline

George W. Kline, 84 of North East, MD, died Thursday, June 29, 2006 at home. Born in North East, MD, on November 15, 1921, he was the son of the late Frank and Verla Laird Kline. Mr. Kline served with the Army during World War II. He retired from the Pennsylvannia Railroad after 42 years as a boiler maker and welder. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Barbara W. Kline of North East, MD; children, Linda Doherty of Perkasie, PA, Walter F. Kline of Bluebell, PA, Thomas G. Kline of Elkton, MD; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where friends and family may call from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Rev. Paul Thomas, North East Church of the Nazarene, will officiate. Interment will be Monday, July 3, 2006 in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
