George Richard Anderson, Jr.

George Richard Anderson Jr., 85 of North East, MD, passed away Friday, January 26, 2018 in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Trenton, NJ, on December 17, 1932, he was the son of the late George Richard Anderson, Sr. and Lillian (Dawson) Anderson.

Mr. Anderson served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was the owner of A & W Coachworks.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and Wellwood Yacht Club, where he served as Commodore.  In his spare time he enjoyed boating.

Survivors include his loving wife: Karen J.  Anderson; 5 children: Jayne Risk of Wayne, PA, George R. Anderson III of Horsham, PA, Bruce Anderson of Upstate NY and Christopher Anderson of North East, MD, Robin Marcoccia of  Gladwyne, PA; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with funeral services beginning at 4:00 pm.
