Genevieve Mae Wharton
Gene M. Wharton, 91 of North East, MD died Thursday, October 6, 2005 in the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on August 9, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Gilden Mae Savage.
She was a Homemaker.
Her hobbies and interests were extensive. She enjoyed making oil paintings and was a fabulous seamstress. Gene also was well known for designing and hand crafting costumes for dance recitals. She valued her quiet time by reading a book occasionally.
She was the wife of the Late Edwin B. Wharton who died April 4, 1985.
Survived by her daughters: Gene and spouse Eugene Ragan, North East MD.

Service will be held 2:00 PM, Monday October 10, 2005 at the Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Friends may call from 1:00 PM untill 2:00 PM on Monday.
Interment will be in The North East Methodist Cemetery.
