Gary M. Bivens

Gary M. Bivens, 73 of Chesapeake City, MD, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Born in Upper Darby, PA, on July 9, 1949, he was the son of the late Erven G. and Mary (McAndrew) Bivens.

Gary was a partner in Global Mechanical, Kennett Square, PA.

He enjoyed anything to do with being outdoors, especially hunting, boating and golfing; traveling to North Myrtle Beach, SC in the winter and spending his time with family and friends.  He loved working on classic vehicles, restoring an International Scout, 1934 Ford Coupe and a 1967 Mustang Convertible.

Survivors include his loving wife: Vicki Bivens; one son: Dean G. Bivens (Meagen) of West Grove, PA; his grandchildren: Hunter and Scarlett Bivens; siblings: James Bivens (Mary) and Richard Bivens (Kathy) all of Lincoln University, PA; brother-in-law: Barry Smith (Fran) of Kemblesville, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service for Gary will be held at a later date.
