Galen Ray Fleming, Sr.
The oldest of 15 brothers and sisters, he was born in Grundy, VA on May 1, 1942, the son of the late Burns and the late Jeannette Fleming.
Galen served in the Marine Corps from 1957 to 1961. He was a welder and pipe fitter for Spectron, Elkton, MD.
He loved hunting, fishing and spending life in the wilderness.
Survivors include his son: Galen Ray Fleming, Jr.; daughters: Barbara Malick and Doris Smith and 6 grandchildren: Michael, Joey, Chrystal, Peter, Amber and Shawn.
Galen was preceded in death by his wife: Thelma Fleming.
Private services will be held in Grundy, VA.
