Frederick R. Kline

Frederick R. Kline, 68 of North East, MD, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on July 7, 1943, he was the son of the late Jacob Ralph Kline, Jr. and the late Beatrice Loretta Aikey Kline. He served in the Army and retired from Thiokol – ATK, Elkton, MD as a Machinist Specialist. He was currently employed at Walmart in North East, MD. Fred was a member of the North American Fishing Club and Bass Masters. He enjoyed fishing, reading and his dog Kiya. He loved model trains. Most of all he enjoyed the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years: Judy Clark Kline; his daughters: Karen L. Ratledge and husband Shannon of Rising Sun, MD, Jennifer A. Cooper and husband Adam of North East, MD; one sister: Susanne K. Kumiega and husband Stanley of Aston, PA; his grandchildren, Brooke and Jacob; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 3:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD with visitation for family and friends beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to: Delaware Elwyn, 321 East 11th Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.
