Frederick Glenn Hill, Sr.

Frederick Glenn Hill, Sr., 57 of Elkton, MD, died Thursday, April 8, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Wilmington, DE, on May 11, 1952, he was the son of Fred W. and Audrey Galyen Hill of Elk Mills, MD. Mr. Hill was the beloved husband of Denise M. Hill of Elkton, MD. He retired after 31 years of service at Chrysler Corp. He also retired from fire service, previously being a member of West Grove Fire Dept. and Singerly Fire Dept. He enjoyed gardening, cutting grass, fishing, going to the beach, camping and crabbing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his loving wife, survivors include: his children: Fred G. Hill, Jr. and his wife Heather, and Tracy L. Wright all of Elkton, MD; his siblings: Gary L. Hill and his wife P. Kay and Arlene Powell all of Elkton, MD; a goddaughter, April Oliver of SC; and his grandchildren: John, Mackenzie, Brady and Hailey Hill and Ethan Wright. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow services in Brookview Cemetery, Rising Sun, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
