Fred Allen Hensel
Born in PA, on November 24, 1952, he was the son of the late George and the late Helen Elizabeth (Streeter) Hensel.
Fred worked for Crouse Bros. HVAC, Elkton, MD as an Installer.
He was Vice President of North Bay MSSA Fishing Association, where he worked with the youth fishing programs and helped with the children’s organization. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon and the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include his 5 children: Allen Hensel, Jr., LeAnn Clough, Christy Roten and Amanda Clarke all of Elkton, MD and Salenia Hensel of Aberdeen, MD; 5 siblings: Jimmy Hensel (Debbie), Billy Hensel (Gerry), Arlene McDwyer (Harry), Ruthie Perdue (Bill) and Shirley Sexton (Tom); and 5 grandchildren: JC, Brittany, Brayden, Landon and Lorelei.
He was preceded in death by 4 siblings: Helen, Elizabeth, Jean and George.
Memorial services, conducted by Rev. Terry Goodwin will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at North East Church of God, 302 East Thomas Avenue, North East, MD, where visitation with the family will begin at 5:00 p.m.
