Fred Joseph Basiago

Fred Joseph Basiago, 69 of Perryville, MD, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 at home.

Born in Summit Hill, PA, on February 19, 1952, he was the son of the late Fred and Wanda Basiago.

Fred worked as a salesman in the textile industry.  He also worked as a private pilot.  Flying was his favorite pastime.

He was a member of the Church of Good Shepherd, Perryville, MD, Lehigh Valley Flying Club and the Airline Owners Pilot Association.

Survivors include his loving wife: Carolynn (Uglow) Kedzierski-Basiago; four children: Kerry Anne Kedzierski of Perryville, MD, Christopher Kedzierski of Pacifica, CA, Matthew Basiago of Bath, PA and Nicole Walter of Coopersburg, PA; and his four beloved grandchildren: Maria, Nathan, Ben and Steven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 800 Aiken Avenue, Perryville, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
