Franklin Leroy Walter, Sr.

Franklin Leroy Walter, Sr., 90 of North East, MD, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center, Rising Sun, MD.

Born in Bloomsburg, PA, on April 6, 1926, he was the son of the late John Edward and Margaret Ann (Dimmick) Walter.

He served his country proudly during World War II in the U.S. Navy.

Prior to his retirement, Frank worked as a technician for the Chrysler Corp.

Survivors include his loving wife: Barbara Jean (Becker) Walter; 6 children: Bonnie Walter, Connie Walter, Kathy Walter, Frank Walter, Jr., Richard Walter and Pam Tomlinson; his brother: Bill Walter; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Services will be private.
