Frankie Lee (Marcum) Upperco

Frankie Lee Upperco, 82 of Perryville, MD, passed away at home Sunday, January 15, 2023.

Born in Slate Creek in Grundy, VA on July 5, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ted and Marjorie Violet (Blankenship) Marcum. She was the wife of the late, Lee D. Upperco who passed October 28, 2019.

Before retirement, she was the owner and operator of Frankie’s Shear Pleasure. She enjoyed quilting and her dog Kiley. Frankie loved her family and her home on the North East River.

She is survived by her daughters: Lisa Hawkins Neary of Perryville, MD and Carol Upperco Givans (Ed) of North East, MD; and grandchildren: April, Bonnie, Christina, Denise, David, Patrick and Liam.

In addition to her parents and husband, Frankie was preceded in death by her children: Nancy Michelle Hawkins and Lee Dixon Upperco, Jr.
