Frank Ira Stringer

Frank Ira Stringer, age 63 of Elkton, Maryland, died Tuesday, September 16, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born in Norfolk, Virginia on September 3, 1940, he was a son of the late Harvey Stringer and Eva Rose Stringer. He was a lifelong resident of Cecil County, Maryland. Mr. Stringer served in the U.S. Army and he was a truck driver for Penske. Mr. Stringer is survived by his sons, Frank J., Elkton, Maryland, Timothy W., Spartanburg, South Carolina, Ricahrd A., Georgetown, Delaware, James H., Fruitland, Maryland, Douglas P., North East, Maryland, Gerald T., Elkton, Maryland and William S.Stringer, Charlottesville Virginia and one daughter, Paula J. Stringer, Charlottesville, Virginia, 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stringer was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Lynn Stringer. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, September 29, 2003 in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, Maryland. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, September 26, 2003 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland, where family and friends are invited to visit.
