Frank Schlosser, Jr.

Frank Schlosser, Jr., 87 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, November 22, 2008 in the Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, on April 3, 1921, he was the son of the late Frank and the late Ethel Irene Thompson Schlosser. Frank served during World War II in the Navy. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #183, Parkville, MD and the V.F.W. Post #6027 of North East, MD. He was a Fire Fighter, employed by Baltimore City Fire Department for 29 years and retired in 1977. Survived by his wife: Rita H. Schlosser, of Elkton, MD; a daughter: Melva E. Hall of Elkton, MD; a son: Frank Schlosser, III of Fallston, MD; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by two daughters: Gena Finster who died in 1984 and Gerri R. Sielicki who died in 2008. Services and interment will be private.
