Frank John Albright

Frank John Albright, 71 of North East, MD, passed away peacefully with his family at his side after a valiant fight with kidney cancer on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Kingston, NY, on December 24, 1938, he was the son of the late Frank A. Albright and Beatrice Krum Albright of Kingston, NY. Frank was a career soldier in the U.S. Army from 1959 until 1981. He served 2 tours of duty in Vietnam and also served in Korea and Germany. Upon retiring, he worked at XTL in PA, MBNA in Newark, DE and H & B Plumbing. He also was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for Cecil County Senior Services. He helped out the staff at the Healthy Lifestyles Fitness Center. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Agnes "Cookie" Albright of North East, MD: his children: Michael F. Albright of NC, Kristine Albright Ruggerio and spouse Richard of Elkton, MD, and Darrin J. Albright and Tonya Graham of North East, MD; his brother: Edward Albright and his spouse Joyce of Kingston, NY; grandchildren: Kyle Albright, Cody Albright and his "punkin" Rachel Ruggerio; and three nieces: Debra, Denise and Doreen Albright. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Anthony Peleggi will be held Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD.
