Francis Thomas Brech, Jr., 86, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at his home.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 5, 1939. He was the son of the late Francis Thomas and the late Regina (Hendel) Brech.
Survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Brech, one daughter: JoAnn Marie Brech of Charles Town, WV, two sons: Matthew Stephen Brech (Beth) of Dover, PA, and Nathan Joseph Brech (Leanne) of Columbia, MD, three grandchildren, and one sister: Jean D'Alessandro of Bellmore, NY.
Francis was a store manager for Robert’s Oxygen before retiring. He was a member of the St. Jude’s Roman Catholic Church in North East and enjoyed reading and nature walks.
A visitation will be held at Crouch Funeral Home, PA, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with an additional visitation taking place on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am, Friday, March 20, 2026, at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD.
Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 1998 Singerly Road, Elkton, MD 21921.
