Frances R. Sharkey

Frances R. Sharkey, age 83, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away Friday, December 19, 2003, at Laurelwood Healthcare Center, Elkton, Maryland. Born in Easton, Pennsylvania, on November 13, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Herbert J. and Anna M. Sandt Musselman. She was a resident of Cecil County, Maryland for 10 years. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of North East, North East, Maryland. Mrs. Sharkey was the wife of the late, James L. Sharkey, Sr., who died April 22, 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Veasey, North East, Maryland son, James L. Sharkey, Jr., Emaus, Pennsylvania, sister, Esther Aicher, Easton, Pennsylvania, two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 21, 2003, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. Family and friends are invited to visit from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 21, 2003, at the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Hokuf of the First Baptist Church of North East, North East, Maryland, will officiate. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, December 22, 2003, in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Easton, Pennsylvania.
