Frances B. (Beal) Myers

Frances Beal Myers, 93 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, March 11, 2017 in the Laurelwood Nursing Center, Elkton, MD.

Born in Lewiston, ME, on June 16, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frank Edgar and Marguerite (Sawer) Beal.  She was the wife of the late Walter W. Myers who died on April 5, 1995.

She worked as a waitress in the 1940’s for Theodore’s Restaurant and for George’s Restaurant in Elkton, MD.

Mrs. Myers enjoyed reading and crocheting.

Survivors include her son: H. Steven Myers (Rebecca); granddaughter: Beth Sunderland; one sister: Edith Allen; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a grandson: Jeffrey Myers; a sister: Rosemond Allen; and six brothers: Wallace, Everett, Ervin, Nelson, William and Norman Beal.

Graveside service will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Quarryville Cemetery, Quarryville, PA.

Rev. Ray F. Graham will officiate.
