Frances I. (Hemminger) Bowser

Frances I. Bowser, 88 of Elkton, MD, formerly of York and Lancaster, PA passed away August 22, 2012 at Laurelwood Nursing Care, Elkton, MD.

A loving mother and caring homemaker, she was devoted to her children and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd B. Bowser and a son, Richard G. Bowser.

Survivors include her children: Doris Smith of South Bend, IN, Lyle and Christine Bowser of Dudley, MA,  Robert and Diane Bowser of Wrightsville, PA, Katie and Mark Hooper of Elkton, MD and Barbara Warner of Hellam, PA; and her nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  Also, a brother: William Hemminger of Sidman, PA and two sisters: Betty Ickes of Sidman, PA and Ida Veres of Guymon, OK.

A family graveside service will be private.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
