Florence P. (Powell) Gill
Born in Lionville, PA, on January 3, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Havard and the late Lydia (Maxton) Powell. She was the wife of the late Wilbur F. Gill who died July 2, 1997.
Mrs. Gill was a member of Wyebrook Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers and antiques.
Survived include 4 daughters: Iris G. Cox of Lewisville, PA, Virginia G. Hertzler of Morgantown, PA, Linda G. Wade of North East, MD and Melissa G. Horning of Morgantown, PA; 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Earl and George Powell; and 2 great grandchildren: Christopher and Justin Cox.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Pequea Baptist Church Cemetery, Route 340, Gap, PA.
