Florence Anne (Pierce) Clemens
Born in Wilmington, DE, on August 31, 1940, she was the daughter of the late James V. and the late Mildred E. (Fluharty) Pierce.
Florence worked at McDonalds in Concordville, PA for many years. She enjoyed gardening, doll collecting and playing the keyboard.
She is survived by her 3 children: Dawn Marie Tillinghast of New Castle, DE, Harold B. Clemens of Galena, MD and David W. Clemens of North East, MD; a sister: Mary Walker of Wilmington, DE; 2 brothers: Ernie Pierce of Earleville, MD, Joseph Pierce of Wilmington, DE; 7 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father John Solomon will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 30, 2013 at St. Jude's Roman Catholic Church, 928 Turkey Point Road, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery.
