Fannie Lucille (Stroup) Bonham

Fannie Lucille Bonham, 85 of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Wytheville, VA, on June 13, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Sarah Jane (Wright) Stroup.   She was the wife of the late James Roy Bonham who passed on May 3, 1995.

Lucille worked for Patriotic Fireworks for many years.  She enjoyed playing canasta, working puzzles, gardening and watching her hummingbirds.  She also liked watching Fox News.

Survivors include 3 children: Freda Marlene Maxwell (James) of Perryville, MD, James G. Bonham (Adeline) of North East, MD and Sera Lee Hines (Douglas) of Elkton, MD; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Lucille was also preceded in death by a daughter: Frances G. Bonham and son: Richard A. Bonham.

Funeral service will be held Monday, August 20, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am until service.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
