Evelyn Mae Mclaughlin
Evelyn Mae McLaughlin, age 96, of Elkton, Maryland, passed away Monday, May 31, 2004, in Elkton, Maryland. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on August 26, 1907, she was the daughter of the late, John Albert Shedwick and Mary Everback Shedwick. She was a homemaker. Ms. McLaughlin is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Vandervort, Perryville, Maryland; brother, John A. Shedwick, Thorofare, New Jersey; 6 grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 11:30 AM, Saturday, June 5, 2004, at St. John's United Methodist Church, 240 Market Street, Charlestown, Maryland. The Rev. John Shedwick will officiate. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.
