Evelyn Kellum

Evelyn Kellum, 77 of Navarre, FL, formerly of Charlestown, MD, died Tuesday, April 7, 2009 in the Baptist Hospital, Pensacola, FL. Born in NC, on April 22, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Veldon and the late Sina Bowers. She was the wife of the late William N. Kellum who died on March 13, 1992. Mrs. Kellum was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 6027 of North East and Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning and the computer. Survivor include her children: Don McGrady of Gautier, MS, William N. Kellum, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Elkton, MD, Keith D. Kellum and his wife Theresa of Elkton, MD, Charlene Fisher and her husband Billy of Navarre, FL, and Darlene Kellum of Elkton, MD; three sisters: Bernice Ault of Statesville, NC, Lee Shumaker of Statesville, NC, Betty Cantymagli of Havre de Grace, MD; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Kelly G. McGrady of Traphill, NC. Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends held Wednesday evening, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
