Eva M. (Gawthrop) Currey

Eva Currey, 92, of North East, formerly of Grafton, WV,  passed away on May 24th, at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center in Rising Sun.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Ware, and son-in-law, James of North East with whom she has made her home for the past forty years.  And also by one grandson, Shawn Ware, wife Stacey, and great grandchildren, Emmerson, Kennason, and Harrison, all of Cochranville, PA. She has one brother and two sisters.  Her parents, husband, and one sister predeceased her.

Funeral arrangements will be made in WV with burial in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Grafton, WV, where she has been a member of the Harmony Grove Baptist church for over seventy years.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Resident Counsel Nursing Scholarship of Calvert Manor Healthcare Center in care of Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
