Eugene Ray Cox

Eugene Ray Cox, 79 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, May 2, 2008 in Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Alverado, VA, on May 11, 1928, he was the son of the late Claude R. and the late Esther Price Cox. He was an Equipment Operator, retiring from James Julian Construction. Survivors include: one sister: Willie Mae Roark of Newark, DE and one brother: Fred Cox of Mountain City, TN; his companion, Maudie Brooks of Elkton, MD; stepchildren: Tony, Gena and Hossy; and his nieces: Deborah, Sharon, Carolyn, Wanda and Marie. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may visit starting at 1:00 PM. Rev. Ralph Massie will officiate. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
