Ernest O. Lundgren Iii

Ernest O. Lundgren III, 72 of North East, MD, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 6, 2024 at home.

Born in Wilmington, DE, on February 16, 1952, he was the son of the late Ernest O. Lundgren, Jr. and Jane (Beacom) Lundgren.

Prior to his retirement, he was an architectural designer, in addition to being a talented musician and artist. Survivors include his wife: Alice Dunaway Lundgren; two sons: Ernest O. Lundgren, IV of Wilmington, DE, Robert C Lundgren of Newark, DE; siblings: Robert Lundgren (Diane) of Media, PA and Ruth Lundgren of Quebec, Canada; stepchildren: Robert Dunaway of Port Charlotte, FL, Jane DiDiego (Joseph) of Kennett Square, PA; and his grandchildren: Felix and Lyra DiDiego.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901.
