Eric Matthew Barclay

Eric Matthew Barclay, 37 of North East, MD, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 6, 2021.

Born in Elkton, MD, on January 17, 1984, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Vickie Gail (Vance) Barclay.

Eric enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to Christian hard rock music and attended North East Church of God.  He was a kind hearted, compassionate and generous person who enjoyed spending time with his friends.

He is survived by two uncles: Carl Vance (Diane) of North East, MD, Elvis Vance (Kimberly) of Elkton, MD; one aunt: Patty Blankenship (Sampy) of Princeton, WV; several great aunts, uncles and cousins.  Also survived by his great aunt and uncle who were his advocates:  Zetta & Ted Hermanns.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
